The short version
This site doesn't use cookies, tracking, analytics or ads, and it doesn't load anything from other companies. Every font, image and style comes from this site itself, so viewing a page doesn't make your browser contact any other site.
Who runs this site
Jackson Mote, under the name Mote Technology Group, in Lexington, Kentucky.
Hosting
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. When you visit, GitHub receives your IP address and the details of the request, such as the date, time and your device information, and may log them for security and operations. I don't receive or use those logs. GitHub's General Privacy Statement explains how it handles this information.
Some other addresses I own forward to this site through GoDaddy, which receives your request before sending you on. Typing motetechnologygroup.com directly skips that step.
If you email me
Email is the only way I receive anything about you, and only if you choose to write. Messages go to my Google Workspace mailbox. I use what you send only to reply and to provide the services you ask for. I don't sell it, share it or add you to a mailing list. If an inquiry doesn't become work, I delete it after 12 months. If you become a client, I keep our correspondence as part of my business records for as long as needed for the work and for tax and legal purposes, then delete it. If you contact me on LinkedIn instead, LinkedIn's policy covers that conversation.
Search results
I use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google search, such as which searches lead to it. That is aggregate data from Google. It collects nothing from this site.
Links to other sites
This site links to LinkedIn. It has its own privacy policy, and this one doesn't cover it. Email links open your email app and share nothing with this site.
Adding to your home screen
If you add this site to your home screen, your device stores only the site's name and icon.
Children
This site is for adults and businesses and isn't directed at children.
Your choices
You can ask what I hold about you, or ask me to delete it. Write to the address below.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. The full history is in the site's public repository.
